GRAPHIC DESIGN MANAGER // JUL. 2019 - PRESENT

GRAPHIC DESIGN COORDINATOR // NOV. 2016 - JUN. 2019

I am responsible for managing and mentoring the graphics team including two designers, a production designer, and a motion designer. I help to give general creative direction, delegate tasks and strategize campaigns. I organize the information given, meet with other teams on establishing brand awareness, and translate their requests into designs. I create visual presentations, imagery, and campaigns with the aim of communicating each brand’s specific message to a variety of target audiences. 

 

I design templates for our department, along with other departments to use throughout the several brands and teams (i.e. social media, partnership, web, in-arena, sales, broadcast, FoxSports Southeast). I am responsible for creating and/or supervising design activities including the creation of game programs, giveaways/prizes, sales campaigns, partnerships pitch decks, and in-arena assets, game presentation, web graphics, in-arena graphics, logos, illustrations, advertisements, community assets, brochures, flyers, social graphics, and many other forms of visual communication.

 

Part of the managing role is to maintain brand guidelines throughout the company and check for quality and consistency. Being attentive to detail, responsive, and communicating are all parts of making sure the aesthetic and character of each brand are withheld among the organization. I continue to curate the growing amount of visual brands, those being the Memphis Grizzlies, Memphis Hustle, Grizz Gaming, Grind City Media, and FedExForum. 

 

On a day-to-day, I plan, conceptualize, strategize, supervise, and implement graphic design elements. I help in the creation of visual imagery through an equivalent combination of visual art, layout, typography, etc. I am responsible for brainstorming ideas, developing high impact creative, and gaining happy partners and fans.

TENNESSEE TITANS

FREELANCE GRAPHIC DESIGNER // APR. 2019 - JUN. 2019

I received an opportunity to work with the fellow Tennessee team on rebranding several in-game entertainment teams, along with creating a new identity concept for the new Titans drumline. I was able to sketch several concepts, working with the game presentation, marketing, and creative teams to reimage/image the Tennessee Titan Cheerleaders, Blue Crew Drumline, among other logos.

MARKETING INTERN // MAR. 2015 - JUN. 2016

MetaSource is a company that creates software and services to optimize your processes to achieve your true business potential. As a graphic designer at MetaSource, I was responsible for social media platforms, websites, trade shows, whitepapers, case studies, among other things.

 

On the social media digital design side of the job, I used Salesforce to track the responses to posts/ads to brainstorm new ideas on how to push products and events. We followed trends in the business field, by creating and posting case studies and whitepapers, bi-weekly. These included several page PDFs that included infographics, articles, and new company products.

 

I was also responsible for managing the website and creating landing pages in Salesforce. Some of these landing pages included marketing to clients to sign up for the latest whitepapers and case studies, event, or trade show signups.  I assisted other team members in creating email templates. These would help the clients become more aware of the products, services, events, and latest news.

 

Several times throughout the year, I created the branding for trade shows including the appearance, advertisements, sales sheets, slide shows, banners/backdrops, timelines, infographics, whitepapers, and case studies to interest prospective and current clients to the company.

PHILADELPHIA FLYERS

DIGITAL MEDIA INTERN // JAN. 2016 - MAY 2016

I worked with the Digital Design Coordinator and Manager to prepare social graphics prior to games. I worked on graphics when players were moved up from minor league teams, promotional sales for ticket sales, and infographics with a collection of statistics and facts.

 

I performed two rotating roles during games. One included watching the games in person and creating live graphics for big moments throughout the game. The second role would be to work the plaza handing out activities, stickers, and giveaways to market the Flyers Kids Club, the app, and buying future tickets.
